Disable Windows 10 taskbar settings through Registry Editor

  1. Go to the Run dialog and type “regedit.exe” and press enter. And go to below entry.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Sofware/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/ explorer/ StuckRects3
  2. Now from the right-hand window of StuckRects3, right click on it Settings and select modify and change the highlighted value to “02”. And press OK. This will disable all the Settings of Task Bar.

  3. If you want to enable the Settings of Task Bar, go to the same key and change its value to “03”.
  4. You will need to restart Windows Explorer or log off and logon again for the changes to take effect.

Use Group Policy Editor or Registry Editor to disable the Settings of your Task Bar and prevent access to anyone to make changes in your Task Bar Settings. And you don’t have to move any third party software for disabling the Settings, the both ways are built-in, in your Windows 10.
